OBX vs Pacesetter

Hey guys im in the market for header and high flow cat . i have a 2002 ecotec 2.2 motor 5 speed tranny, from what i have seen, OBX and Pacesetter (Cemeric) are the best looking ones i currently have a borla cat back with stock headers and cat. how much of a differece will i get if i got with a pacesetter header, and cat, or and OBX header and cat as far as sound. i was even thinkin of scrapping the borla (or selling it) to just keep it one brand for the entire exhaust. but i have seen noting as far as OBX cat backs for sound. i want to keep my deep done and not have that wainy wimpy sound. any suggestions on what direction to go??

my though were go with the OBX stuff and keep the borla. but if it will sound better if i went with all OBX then that is what i will do has any out here heard what an all OBX system sounds like???

is the obx coated? or stainless?

I would go with the pacesetter and borla exhaust

The OBX is all stainless. header, cat, and catback system.
the worst part about pacesetter is the cat back system.

Holly crap it's Bragger! I think you should throw a 3" exhaust on that thing, buy a charger and head over here to Akron and we'll tune it.

Also the obx header has a problem of having the O2 sensor being on just two of the four pipes so you won't get a fully proper reading.

The proper way of using the word seen. It is not I seen it that would be I saw it. He has seen the car is the right way to use the word. English class is Cool. By the way thats my sig

I had the RKS 4-1 and now have the DC 4-2-1 and both have the O2 in only one of the primaries......not a problem. You actually start having problems when they put the O2 in the collector, because its too far from the head and doesnt heat up fast enough. Everyone who has a header like that has changed the O2 for a heated O2 tpo solve the problem.

stay away from OBX.......junk. All they do is TRY to copy others peoples products and usually fail at it.

OBX is a company that flat out steals other companies designs, does no research and development, and cheapens the part as much as possible.

They sell the copied part as cheaply manufactured and ~~cough~~ cost effective as possible.
I would buy a Pacesetter over an OBX header any day.

Some people get "ok" parts will others have major fitment issues.

I'm running the Pacesetter now since about late 2004 I believe. Non coated, sanded down and coated with the spray can heat reducer stuff and it's been holding up great.
