torque damper

hey guys, In case I want to install an engine damper, which part of the engine should I hook it to? I was thinking on the bracket that connects the engine and the upper motor mount. I've searched and nobody talks much about the damper. I've read that the jbody has a good 4point mounting that' why it doesn't need one.?what's that mean? thanks

first of all.....no one knows what kind of car you have and what engine to answer your question. Ive only seen dampers for the cobalt personally, so you'll be making one custom fit.

if you have a manual (again going back to not knowing wtf you have) there is a 4-point mount system. two on the tranny and two on the motor. the auto only has 3 mounts (only one on the tranny) most people just get poly mounts.
