Purchasing header this friday....HELP!!!
Wednesday, October 08, 2008 7:28 AM
I am purchasing a header for my 2005 Ecotec auto.....right now I just have a K&N Short Ram and a Virbrant Cat Back exhuast. My upper range power is just fine for now but I feel that with having these bolt ons and an automatic my low end is horrible I was wondering which header (Im sure 4-2-1) would be the best for me. I don't want to spend more than $200 so the RK Sport and DC are out right away. But what about Tsudo, Weapon R.....or any others that will help my low end! I wish Pacesetters was a 4-2-1, cause my decision would be made!

And Please don't respond informing me about the GMPP Supercharger kit....trust me I already know!! But theres no money for that!!

Thanks for your input guys!!

alot of people have had luck with the tsudo headers...pacesetters are known for leaks at the pivot point

Wowww...ok guys

first of all z28guy....did you not hear me say about how i i like the pace setter...im not putting it down at all!! But FYI its a 4-1 and I clearly stated that Im looking for better low end power (which would be a 4-2-1 header).....

Can i get some opinions from some ppl who know wat a good cheap 4-2-1 header is.....?

And yes i will probly be going with the Tsudo

Does anyone know if the Pacesetter 4-1 will decrease my low end or keep it the same...... I know it will improve up high!

he fully said he didnt want pacesetter plus pacesteer is a pos to begin w/. i nevr hear bad things about tsudo. also if uve got a problem with ur bottom end power becasue of it begin AUTO. you always do a QUICK brake-stall. hold the break down. floor it and let go as soon as you can before the converter hits the stall point. you can launch it like a standard tranny.

FYI: by converter i mean torque converter. by stall point i mean when the engine wont rev any higher. the engine will not stall. incase u dont know......
