hey people .. could someone tell me what are the syntoms of a broke crank sensor ..

askin this because i have a 96 ld9 which i having problems when i try to start .. the car simply just wont start keeps trying and trying and nothing .. a checked the sparks, coils , ecu, , relays and nothing .. i dont have theft system and im about to think that could be the crank sensor .. but before buying a new one .. i would like to know your oppion guys ..

That could be a symptom of it, I just replaced one on my 2200, my car would randomly start to stall like it was loosing fuel then run fine. Then it finally threw a code for it. So $15 later I put a new sensor in and it's been fine.

Ok on a ld9 when the crank sensor goes or the plug is not plugged into the sensor. The car won't start. The fuel pump will kick on but you will not get spark and if you have the lil fuel injector pulse testors like i did. Where you unplug a injector and slide it in. It will blink if the injectors tried to pulse.

My problem was when i did my swap i forgot to plug it in. But you will not get spark and fuel injectors won't pulse if it is unplugged or not picking up the crank(sensor bad)
