Ok, I have a 98 cavalier with an ld9 in it. I am trying to install the rk sport lower motor mount, but when I crawled under my car to loosen the bolts, I found that one of the bolts was weled to the bracket?!?!?!!!! I have the top one installed, but I want to the lower one as well, I only have simple hand tools, and I am looking for opinions on how to get this thing off! Any opinions are welcome, I have thought about a hack saw, but that would take a LONG time. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

lol yes sir, you take the bolt out and the nut is supposd to be welded on, just put a socket wrench on the other end thats not welded and take it out, intall new mount with a bit of elbow grease and install bolts same as they came out and tourqe down, that be it. have fun.
wow, I feel like a retard! I was thinking wrench on both ends... But thanks!

x2 and some liquid wrench or wd40 won't hurt either.

Don't let the punks get to you. If they can't say anything helpful its because they probably
have VERY LITTLE IF ANY MECHANICAL SKILLS . Talking crap is just their way of hiding that
fact. They figure the more crap they say the less likley anyone will know how dumb they are.
Also lil pry bar wouldnt hurt either, My stocker one was a lil stuck.
my rk sport lower mount was a pita to get in, the bushing was too wide and i had to beat it in with a rubber mallet.
