Not to be an @!#$ but I have a problem with you doing a group buy. I talked to HRC last year about this and was told in no uncertain terms that a group buy was not allowed PERIOD because it was unfair for their other vendors.
I know it means nothing to you in the big picture but if they'll let you do it but not me I think that's a real slap in the face, especially after all I did for them with their kit and my car.

i think its a group purchase thru turbo tech not hahn meaning turbo tech get it at whole sale and then sells the product at a lower price than msrp to get more sales.

Anton: I know how it works. I have a business too and had an account with HRC as well. I was told I couldn't do a GP because the lower prices wouldn't be fair to their other vendors. Heck, I was selling below MSRP as it was. You had to.

Times are changing, I've seen many manufactures adjust their rules on the fly as the economy has slowed down. Really what business do you have posting in this thread anyways?

What business do I have? I have every right to make it known what I was told by them. I wasn't rude or mean in my post at all. I very politely stated what I was told. If you don't like my posts, don't read them. What business do you have posting in here? Gonna try and sell your HRC kit again? My attitude? All I I keep hearing from local people and those on CSS.net that have done business with Bill lately is how much his attitude has changed into what you think mine is. I doubt that's an issue at all since he's never had a problem with me in the 3 years we've known each other that he's ever mentioned. He may now though. *shrug*

You have voiced your concern and brought it to everyone's attention... and if it really bothers you Ryne, then call Bill up and talk to him personally. Like FastCav said though, times are changing. Maybe Hahn could allow something for TVR as well.

I am NOTHING like Whiteboy. I do not provide bull@!#$ service and fail to ship products. Every time he posts that card he posts my phone #, email, and website which doesn't hurt me one bit, and either do the stupid changes to the card.
I tried talking to Bill, and others, there about it on the phone but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get anyone to return my calls on the matter.

Hypsy I think the point most people are making is you have gone about this the wrong way. It would have been better to contact Bill directly and the rest by PMs.
I don't think Hahn's reseller program is what it should be. When I went to purchase my 20g upgrade it was cheaper to go directly through their sales team. There's no point to having resellers if anyone can go direct to the company and get it cheaper. The point of resellers vs. direct sales is to unload some of the product support and marketing. Hahn is a smaller company so it seems to be going both routes which isn't the best for you the reseller, and it is confusing to customers.
Obviously you are willing to support their product when you sell it, so that is a value added service and may be worth some additional costs to some people. From what I know of you, you are very helpful in this regard. But who are we kidding this is the Jbody scene, the only thing that matters is getting it as cheap as possible.

I know that you all think I should have kept it out of this post. I get that. As I posted though I got no response from ANYONE at HRC when I voiced my concerns about this before so I'm voicing them here hoping maybe they'll see it and maybe it will have some effect on things. If they want to allow TTR to do a GP and not anyone else, that's their right. I just think it's crap personally if that's the case.
You are right about their resellers program though. I had to sell at such a low price to make any sales that I couldn't make hardly anything on their products. For 95% of their resellers it is this way. The only benefit the smaller companies like me and TTR have is exactly what you touched on, after sales support. That's our only plus side versus going and getting it direct or from someplace like NOPI.
I guess since this didn't come off in my first post I need to state that I am in no means bashing TTR and their attempts to get a GP going. I am bashing the fact that I was told that I wasn't allowed to offer one under any circumstances. TTR is a great company and me and Aaron have been "friends" for a while now, long before TVR was anything but a car club. I have sold his parts in the past and will hopefully continue to in the future. Sorry if it came off as me bashing TTR or Aaron and not HRC and their policies.

And Hypsy, this is an interest only thread......but by you selling under MSRP, you also violated the terms of the same agreement you mentioned.
I also have to say when the economy goes down, car performance is one of the first things to go with it.......so Hahn and turbotech are prolly trying to squeeze out some units before things bottom out. I do understand your frustrations, but times change, as does company policies.
Im sure Aaron will have permission to do this GP before it is official.

This is not correct. HRC does not, well did not, have a minimum sales price in place. The MSRP is just their direct price in 99% of the cases.

We did get Hahns approval today.
First thought for discount:
Based off MSRP...
For every turbo kit sold 1% off MRSP. So if we get 8 members everyone gets 8% off MSRP.
Up to 10% off which is the MAX Hahn will allow.
