if by 2.2, you mean the non-eco variant, you don't need a bypass pulley... AC was an option, so there are non-AC equipped belts available.
i couldn't find a non-ac belt for mine, probably just the dumb parts counter chick. but i wasnt about to buy that stupid pulley. i had to measure mine. i forget the part number. the packaging is in my toolbox, i will get it posted soon.
Ecotecs also have a no ac belt at auto parts stores
I know the post is old but I wouldn't need to buy the bypass? I could simply remove the a/c comprosser and buy a shorter belt?
Correct. My LN2 doesn't have AC.
Compressor would normally be on the bottom of the block.
How about this: Microprocessor-controlled motorless freon compressors for automotive apps have just recently hit the market... Anyone for being able to run their A/C with the engine shut-off?
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
Awesomesauce, welp I know what I'm getting tomorrow
