What year do i need to look up for the pump itself for the 2.3 oil pump swap?? will the 92 acheiva 2.3 pump work???

yep. im pretty sure every 2.3 besides the 95 had the same oil pump.

90-94 yes, there are some different setups 87-89 that should be avoided.

well that shouldnt affect the oil pickup ??? your gonna wanna buy a new "pump" to put on it anyway
ok now for the oil pump drive gear do i need the one with 57 or 66 teeth? autozone has both of them and there pretty cheap.

The pump you posted is the one you need. That is the pump that is in my car now.
As for this question about teeth I don't know where that comes from or what the answer is. I would have them look up whatever one came on a 92 acheiva.

the reason they list two gears is because they sell the metal gear that goes on the crank as well as the fiber gear that goes on the pump...you want the METAL one and it being bigger i would assume its the 66 tooth one..just tell them you want the metal one and not the fiber one...i dont even know why the sell the fiber gear alone i would never ever try to change JUST the fiber gear on the pump without changin the whole pump.

the pumps alone are cheep enough.
