hey i have an 03 cavalier with a 2.2 i have an vibrant exhaust and im looking for an intake i looked at rk sport short ram and aem cold air but i worried with the cold air i might suck water up if someone has any advice i could greatly use it soon..

if you like the rk just go with it. its a very nice intake and i firmly believe it can do just as good of job as the AEM.



Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...

get the cheapest one you can find. and dont drive thru any deep puddles

Don't worry about it sucking up water, the AEM intake is completely enclosed inside your fender/bumper, for you to suck up any water youd have to drive through a puddle that would need to nearly submerge your whole wheel.

Ive had my AEM for a year now driven in all kinds of weather and no issues at all.

ive also heard of alot of the eco guys buying the Bomz 2.4L intake and modifying it for the vacuum lines needed. most seem to be happy with it. probably your cheapest solution.

i had the AEM intake and it was decent, but i switched to the K&N short ram intake and i like that way better its also much easier to get to the filter if you need to
