With the way the economy is this is bound to hapen. I mean look at Greddy bankrupt after 10+ long years. i read an article not to long ago by Jay Chen, he was talking about the small demise of some amazing mags such as Sport Compact Car and Turbo magazine. He was tlkaing about how only the hardcore brands that have really stood the test of time and have shown quality will wade the storm. That the hard times will weed out the people that just are into the fad of our community and buy cheap China parts killing good companies.

What will become of their hardware stock & tooling is anyone's guess. Many traditionalists think that Edelbrock should... or will... buy-up all the tooling & molds. I think if Lil' Vic wants to by something, it should be Venom to get the molds for their LN2 cast-aluminum manifold... which looks like it'd be perfect for turbo apps.

In a way, Comp Cams has already stepped-up... and over... Crane's position, seeing how I haven't really heard of anything truly innovative from Crane in quite some time. Comp's Xtreme Energy series cams are the big thing now, and I have yet to hear of anything new from even Isky. So....

The only real headache I see in the long-run is that I don't really see anything in others catalog for pre-'96 computerized apps, like Crane had with the Compucam series. If I ever get another EFI'd Ramcharger, I'd be nice to have that as a simple bolt-ins since no-one makes an intergrator-box for the Mopar SMEC & SBEC.

Turbo Magazine's gone bye-bye too? Man... That mag was around before I was in junior-high, and the premiere high-tech hot-rodding mag. Damn...

how did you guys pay? If via card, call the card company ASAP, and tell them to put a hold on those charges until your merchandise is recieved. Ive been down this road before, thats the best thing you can do.

Hopefully someone will buy everything and continue the name, i could very easily see another cam company grabing them up.

Hey Brad, PayPal will refund you that money if you don't get product from the company.
With the amount you paid, you should have no problem with getting it back if you make a claim with PayPal after 30 days of original transaction.
