ok guys....gonna need alot of help and opinions on this one

ok first of all im new to the J platform, but ive done my research and still havent found an answer, but here it goes, i have two third gen cavaliers, a 95 Z24 with a blown head gasket, and a 97 Z24 with a blown tranny, im planning on driving the 95 (has sunroof and power everything) but anyway, ok heres some options ive looked at

1. swap 2.3 with the 2.4, but not really sure about the whole OBD1 and OBD2 situation, but anyway would keep the intake and exhaust from the 2.3 and put in the 2.4, and maybe do a secret cam swap.

2. fix the blown head gasket in the 2.3, and take out the 2.4 and build it up for when the 2.3 goes to @!#$ again.

3. swap 2.3 with the 2.4, and build up the 2.3

anyway ive had the cars for a while now and i really need a car to drive (dad is gettin pissed i keep taking his truck) but yeah any input or opnions would be greatly appreciated, both the cars are at a friends house who has a lift and alot of knowledge with OBD1 and OBD2 but doesnt want to go through the headache again with this car.

thanks

Toss the tranny from the 95 into the 97 and build the 2.3.
