read my post on header tuning and exhaust size and ul see why its important make sure u have a proper exhaust on your car
even a 2 grand system will make u loose hp if its not flowing the right amount of cfm for cars rated hp 140hp they need continuous 308 cfm of flow anything less and its a waste of money and a general rule for headers is that collectors need to be 1.75 x primary dia with 10" - 20" of length

if it start the next day it can be driven harder

With those, You can always chop the muffler and put on a good one. Only real issue I have seen is pipe quality.

Usually real thin and will most likely rot easy.

that's kinda where i was goin with that,i figured i could buy a good muffler(like a cherrybomb!lol)and put it on the piping that came with one of those, most of them do say it's stainless and a few of them are actually good sellers so i just figured hey for 100 bucks y not? but you think the piping is an issue huh?that's the only real reason i was even lookin at those, cuz it was stainless and cheap, lol

Could be hit or miss ya know.....

But I have seen some REALLY thin piping come from ebay..

I say just go to a muffler shop and have them bend one up quick..Bring your own muffler too. I probably wouldn't go with a cherry bomb. Maybe if it is one of the Vortex models...

lol.no i won't be addin a cherrybomb again,it was free so hey y not?i'm still debating on muffler but the point of this post was to find piping that was cheap and stainless, cuz well when you got a 6month old ya kinda get used to generic,i don't mind spendin the extra buck for quality but if i can get stainless for less than 700dollar exhaust then y not?

You could probably get the section of stainless piping from a metal shop. Probably have to order it. Then have the exhaust shop bend it up, and still have about $500 left from the $700.

alright well i appreciate the help, but one more question, what would i tell the "metal shop" to make the piping thickness since like you said most ebay manufacturers-think that's how it's spelled, lol, make it thin?i would'nt even know what it is?like 8th"?

Re: exhaust?

The guy who did my exhaust painted it all with Tremclas rust proof paint. silver, i was kinda pissed cause he painted my nice big red cherry bomb silver, but it does look nice all uniform like that.

You really think it's worth it to get it all stainless?

The size doesnt matter with the pipe rotting, only what metal it is made from. If you get high quality 304 stainless steel you wont have a problem with it rotting.
