Sorry, I cant seem to find in the search the part numbers for a egr blockoff plate that fits a 1998 Cavalier with a 2200. I know that the plate comes from a 1999, but i cant find the number or gasket number.
However, i did find one for a 2.4 liter. Its part number is #24575505. DO they use the same part and gasket? I figured a GM egr is a gm EGR, and that are basically the same. Before you guys ask, i understand the emissions and i have HpTuners to get rid of the egr code so its no problem.

Hey, has anyone ever heard of one for the '90-'97 2.2L? I'd like to know because this seems to be the only option for my app since there is no limiter plate available to sandwich in, even from the guy who makes the 4.3L EGR limiters on s10planet.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
if u live where anywhere that gets winters like sask canada i wouldnt block off your egr and it actually helps your engine the only down fall is that it gets your int plenum on pre 98's dirty
if it start the next day it can be driven harder
just make your own block off plate if you really want one. go to home depot/ace hardware/ ect shape a peice of stainless, drill some holes, gets some rtv or cut your own gaskets and bolt that @!#$ up.
i had steel and cut-your-own gasket stuff at my house and thats what i did on my 2.4.
under an hour worth of work and no cost to me. id assume you can do the same thing with the 2200
