My car pulls nice till about 85 mph, then it hardly pulls any. I have a 4t60e tranny and a 1994 3100.
What should I focus on to get car to pull harder, higher?

i though b&m shift plus help pull in 3rd gear a little

8 psi with m62 and IAT under 100

I have thought about a shiftplus, but my final goes with the car include a manual swap, so i dont think im going to purchase one.

A few things I would say cause it.
Probably 1 of them is the heads. If you have the large port heads, you'll probably get a better powerband, and thus put down a bit more at higher RPM. Another is probably with the cam. GM didn't make it to be a high revver. Look over on 60degreev6.com at the cams. The last is probably the gearing. I would guess that at that speed you're probably right around the point where you hit 3rd gear. So it's probably a big part of how steep your gearing is. Switching to a manual will probably help some.
The combination is probably killing you, but I doubt with 1 single thing you'll get rid of the problem. Looking at my timeslips I'm pulling just a hair over 75mph when I hit the 1/8 mile marker and I cross the finish line at a tad over 90. I have the large port heads, and a manual trans. But I have the 3.58FDR rather than the 3.91 that the 2.4 cars come with. I'm sure changing it will help times some, but right now it seems sluggish at higher speed.

I know the smal port motor holds it back a bit, and the tranny.. sad part is with extensive weight reduction it still stops pulling at 85.. get up there faster, but still hits a wall.. I plan to swap a 3400 in when I swap to a five speed to really wake my car up, hopefully.

It'll still seem to kinda flatten out. I would just say to the top end swap, unless you can get a whole 3400 for cheaper.

I would rather have the 3400 for the 0.3l anyway.. no replacement for displacement, except revs, but lets be honest, not getting too rev happy with a 3x00.

Tell me about it. I can't even hit stock redline on mine without the valves floating real bad.

There are some insane motors over on 60degreev6. look at the CNCguy thread about his parts..
