what would be a good head swap on 01 ld9 with an m62 charger and bored 20 over 9:1 cr any info thanks

color me lost... but i do not quite understand what you are getting at...
if you want higher compression you could do a 2.3 head or an older 96-98 ld9 head.

I must confess... I feel like a monster!

why would you go 9:1 compression with supercharger? waiste of power there, to makeup for it you would have to go with the 086 head, but then running the supercharger , you may have to mod the manifold(not sure on that one), you should put compression back to stock or upgrade compression to help with the supercharger, if ou upgrade the pistons, go with 96-98 head, if you want to keep compression, get rid of charger and go turbo with 086 head

yea i know i had the pistons but. i was looking at a 086 head and i was wondering what i wood have to do to make it work

look it up man there are tons of posts about it, just have fun using the supercharger with the head

Match it to a 2.4 head gasket and you will need manifolds from a 2.3. thats the quick version lol...there is a good thread with pics if you search. with the 9-1 pistons you should end up with about 10.5-1 with the 086 head which would be fun with the m62.

with an m62 charger
9.0:1 would be safe....
I would not go above 10:1...... but thats just me.
Stock 00-02 is around 9.7 (yes please argue me on that.... so I can pull up SI and show you.)
Id stick with that. and the M62.
