hey guys i've been doing a lot of reading and i still cant figure out the right cam to get for my LN2, any suggestions im building the engine for 250-300 hp if that helps any, also you would need to tune it obvious anyone have input on the tune? ill most likely take it to a professional to get it tuned but i would like to know some information before i hand my car to someone who will give me a run around to tune it properly

I sell I boosted regrind for the LN2.
Its about $200 IIRC, but I need your core in good shape!
I use it in my car, and a couple people on here have it!

If you're going for that much power, you're obviously boosting. Why not run the stock cam?

didnt think the stock cam could keep up with FP
and my core is in good shape, getting the block bored .30over and the new wiseco pistons will be here on friday figured while the block was torn apart why not go for bigger cam seeing as the car is going to get a small tune anyways

The re-grind that I have on my car is as follows.
Intake Duration 200*
Intake Lift .285" (.456" with 1.6 roller rockers)
Exhaust Duration 200*
Exhaust Lift .285" (.456" with 1.6 roller rockers)
Intake Centerline 108* ATDC
Lobe Seperation 111*

Would this cam be ok for spray? I'd love to put a cam in, running a 75shot right now and hopefully after taxes gonna be running a 100 with my new goodies.

VERY mild for N2O. He spec'd that for a turbo motor, big difference. MadJack's cam would be a good match for the juice though.

yes i was thinking that for a boosted LN2 say anything over 14 that you would need a bigger cam to "keep" valves open longer for fuel/air to enter and escape

1.6 roller rockers will help with that too.
They wont stay open longer, but they will open more, so more area for scavenging exhaust, and more area to force air into the chamber!
I did both, cam and rockers!

Boost = pressurized air charge = you get "more" air by nature. Longer/greater valve opening can be helpful, boosted or not, but you want the cam characteristics to be changed slightly differently depending on induction method.
