hey forum, im looking to possibly delete the A/C on my 94 sunbird LE as it doesn't work now and i have both a new ac compressor and condenser.....i got the car for $150 and am looking to just sell the new parts and then deleting the system off as I'm a windows down kinda guy come the hot months, i run a lawn care business and im in the heat all the time so im used to it.....is' their a delete pulley i need or can i just delete the system since it's on it's own belt
If it does not run anything else I don't see why you can't just cut the belt off (easier) or remove it (harder). I did on the BMW my wife had. On my '99 cav I just got a belt for the non a/c model cuz the clutch in it is bad (serpentine).
yea, i don't wanna go cutting and then find out its needed, thanks buddy
Connect your laptop to your car battery, scroll down to the A/C and choose delete.
If you want to remove your A/C, Just pull it all out. If the A/C is on its own belt (nothing else on the system) then it should be fine to remove it with no issues. Just remove the belt and see how it runs before you remove it all.
u may need a smaller belt, i'm not sure of it so do some research first but you may need a smaller belt after you delete all of it.
