^^ I will let MD give his decision on that, since this is his product.
Although I would imagine that the pricing would be similar or maybe just a little more than his normal crank cost, but I am hoping he would go for a ten minimum sign up list for a GP. We will obviously have a smaller group of interest on these since its kind of a "specialty" item.
Listening in on the thread.
Now that we're on the subject it would be nice for an complete explanation of what the os pulley does for the M45 supercharger and the smaller pulleys that are an option for the M45.
I've got Jareds Steigmeier built M45 sitting in storage awaiting other components to complete what I need to install it onto the car so this may have to be on the list of must haves for my install.
Thanks.

I know it was discussed in another thread, but the pulleys should be around half the weight of stock. Now I know the rotating mass is moved out a bit, but dropping that much weight should still allow it to rev a little faster. As far as belt slip I wouldnt imagine even a 2.5 sc pulley would give you any issues as long as you have a good belt and tensioner.
Come on everybody speak up if you would want in on one of these, gotta show em the market is there!
I'm on a 2.5 with no slipage issues. Stock belt.
Give me a price and a pulley and I'm ready.

I would think this would make the belt fit better with a smaller sc pulley. Some have needed to change the belt when swapping to a smaller sc pulley, this should allow the stock gmsc belt to fit a bit more snug being larger in size.
I PMed Mike about a few things, so hopefully he will chime in or give me some info to relay soon.
I am curious as to how many people are running the gmpp charger, I would imagine that there are more than just the people posted up in this thread so far.
I'll get some quotes to see how cheap I can get them. $150 maybe with 8 people...if I can sweet talk the machine shop that is making the other LD9 pulleys.

This would work better for alternators as well correct? as in to get more power at idle. if so im in.

And Josh.
Here is what I was talking about.
Quote:
To determine the input or output speed or the pulley and cog sizes needed in a drive you may use a simple ratio. Given any three items you can solve for the fourth. With a V-Belt drive the answer is theoretical, due to belt slippage, and with a timing belt or a chain drive not every answer provided is an available combination. You may use this basic formula for more than just a two pulley setup. The RPM of the output pulley becomes the input RPM for the next stage of the drive. Done this way you can use this formula to solve for a multi pulley drive. Just remember that idlers do not change the output of the drive system. They are used to provide tension or to route the belt

Yes this will increase your alt pulley speed at an idle and increase the output.
Remember the more people that get in on this the cheaper they could potentially be. Everybody start filling up the list. Maybe someone could link this thread into the audio & electronics forum.
