I found a new ribbed idler pulley and it is working perfect. Its a 6 groove pulley so I have an unused groove but its the only one I could make work.
Mike I have my belt size all figured out so when we put on the new crank pulley I will pick up a new gatorback to go with it. Any idea how much more belt the pulley will really take up?
I might have enough adjustment in my tensioner to accomodate it.
Any updates? I drove my turbo car this weekend and now my SC car (daily driver) feels slow as balls... I went from spinning in 2nd and 3rd to barely being able to get out of my own way....

Hopefully Mike will be getting ahold of me this week about a time to test fit one on my car. That will all depend on the machine shop though.
I am anxious to get it and see what kind of boost increase we can get. Once my meth, cams, tranny swap, and new exhaust are done I am gonna need to do some more tuning.
Machine shop is having a hard time finding the larger diameter bar stock. Since machining them out of plate would up the price to at least $225-250........

I don't know if this will help but on
metalsdepot.com a 2' x 4 ' x 1" thick 6061-T651 Aluminum Plate is only $ 654.24 for 10 units totaling $1,500.00 leaves them a 854.00 profit for a couple hours of work. This size piece should yield them 18 pulleys.
a 2' x 2' piece should yield them 9 pulleys and that only cost $352.12 leaving them $998.00 profit. This was figured for 8" x 8" x 1" pieces. Don' t let them pull your dick . If they can't do it I have a shop that is very willing to tackle it for us.

Its just all the added time of turning a square plate into nice circles. I have complete faith in them. Also, its more like 1.25" x 7.313" per pulley. lol.

This isnt dead yet, the real hold up is getting the materials to make them.
We should have enough interest to be able to afford a few people to bail out on this.
Patience is key, this is a brand new product. From conception of idea to production usually takes longer than a month or so. As long as I get this bad boy in time for the bash and some more tuning Im good. Im sure Mike will get us taken care of.
I'm just waiting for the machine shop to confirm pricing. We should have enough people to get this done.

^^^ it should still work... the three threaded 'puller' holes are always in the same location as far as i know, unless you move them??? (maybe you could make sure cody's has them in the same spot just for this reason?)
so he should still be able to just bolt the OS to the bomz... which actually... is sweet considering he'll get the benefits of underdriving everything else but the charger will technically be getting MORE than it was before hehe
(in reality cody could benefit from just a stock sized pully driving the sc)

I'm 99% sure the puller holes are identical to stock location, but I'll double check.
