lsj block in cav

I hope I'm posting this in the right spot and I've looked for this answer but may have over looked it but is the 2.0 lsj block the same as the l61 or can it be installed with making only minor changes. I'm about to start my build which will be a turbo build and plan on a lot of boost. I have several l61 donors to use but I know the newer gen blocks are stouter than the 1st gen blocks. I'm just hoping the lsj is the same externally so everything will match up. If so, I plan on buying the lsj block from a performance shop, so I guess i'll need to know if the l61 head will work on it also since I have several on hand? Thanks Jeff K.

Yes. You can mount a LSJ block in a cavalier. The bigger issue becomes the crank/trigger wheel. You can run a L61 crank in the LSJ block to retain the factory jbody ECU, or run a LSJ crank and use a external trigger wheel.

Awesome, you just made my day! I've just heard great things about lsj blocks, so I figured I will just use it for reassurance. Thanks again.
