Yea I know it's been brought up a few times. But here it is I want to go. I want to see who all for sure wants to go so we can all stay at the same place and head up there the same time and what not and maybe caravan up with others along the way.
I'm thinking about heading up there thursday sometime and then come home sunday night.
Again dates are 8/25-8/27
So who's for sure going and wants to make reservations before it's too late?

I'm willing to go but not unless I go with someone, at least have a car to chill by the whole time hahahah cause it would suck to just walk around and @!#$ for a few days. I want a spot to set up base camp, shaded canopy, chairs, coolers, ect..

I want to go, i suppose i could even drive. my car is nowhere near show shape, and i hear all the bad stories about breakins, and stuff getting stolen. Im strongly considering going.

Anyone figure any prices? kind of like a budget for the weekend? That would decide for me if i went or not. Let me know how much for rooms and what not. and if i do go and we get a room and how much it would cost to split a room or what not. let me know what you can find out. i checked and from my house its about a 5 hr drive. but im strongly considering going.

Im in, I live in Lincoln about 3 hours south of Chi Town, and 4 hours from Marion. Will met u guys somewhere to continue the drive to the bash. So if cars a full we can pile a couple in my ride.

Nevermind im out. I got to go to Depot Days in my home town. that same weekend. I would LOVE to go but the woman will be around. sorry but i really want to do both. she wants me to go to the bash but i i want to spend time with her. i dont know its still up in the air cuz im still on the phone with her now.

I booked my room last week at american inn and suites it was $166.00 for three day about 55 a day. Others here on the org have rooms at the same hotel and paid 33 a night. anybody that wants to spit it with me is more than welcome, paul is thinking about going in on it with me already i would say it could be about 60 a person for the whole weekend if enough people get into it together
As far as budget goes i would say it all depends on how much u wanna do and party room booze partying (remeber SIU is about 30 away) and class will be in session. id say u could get away with $200.0 to $250.0 for the weeend thats about 50-62.50 a day
as far as caravan goes im going 294 to 80 toward IOWA and hoping on 57and going down that way maybe we all could meet up at the I-80 W on ramp just a thought.
