Anybody know of anyone selling a complete 2.4 Twin Cam engine? I am looking for a spare block and head from a 2000+ without EGR. Let me know.

i have a 96 block has pistons and lower end but no head or above
Maybe i can purchace a head separate. Does it run and how much would you want for it.? I am in New Lenox Illinois . Not too far from you.

Not does it run but did it run or had it thrown a rod bearing . How many miles were on it?

yeah it still ran before i took it out but it developed a slight knock so i just assumed it was a rod bearing and picked up a new 2.4 to put in quickly so i could drive it and i planned on fixing it but never got around to it and it had about 140000 on the clock, i have the head too but that im porting and polishing and just pm me a price if interested
i actually thought about swapping over to a ecotec but I love the 2.4 way too much. PM sent .

GO ECO!!!! and while your at it swap to a getrag so you dont have to keep going through transmissions.....damn luke just see the light already, ECO IS THE WAY TO GO!
so is manual, the way to go!!
