first off its $400 OBO. the motor does not run. jumped time and bent valves and destroyed the pistons. no head cover. had to use on new motor that replaced this one. block and crank are still good. and i believe the cams are still good. i believe i still have the alternator and water pump. will have to check and update post. will not ship im in st louis mo. no reasonable offer refused the 400 is just a starting point. give me an offer and come pick it up and its yours. great for a full motor build up if thats whats you plan to do. send me and email at supedup04cavi@yahoo.com

hahaha yeah preaty much, I'm German, I'm stuborn by nature.
my thinking, I have 2 04 eco cavs, both run fine. Eventually I want to build a spare motor for the silver car cause chances are if my plans go through I'm gonna pop the motor in the silver cav real quick hahahah, but even if I do I still have a daily driver. So my first priority is getting the silver cav finished (by finished I mean back in one piece ready for car shows again) building a spare motor isn't real high on my priorities, but if I can pick up a cheap engine I will, but considering I don't NEED it I'm not spending much, especially on a motor that doesn't run cause pistons smashed valves, thats alot of money just to get it in running condition again.... not spending over 100 on a very big paper weight hahahah
True.... but a good running engine will go for alot more then $100...... hell, I sold my '02 Eco engine/wire harness/ECM for $1200

^^^ it'll cost more then that in parts to get this one back to running condition without the wiring harness and ECM
what condition is the motor in? like rather is it taken apart or is it still all together?
still put together. the pistons arnt really destroyed thay just have markes in them from smacking the valves. you can see them with a flashlight looking down through the head where the spark plugs go in at.the motor still ran when we took it out but it didnt sound very good at all
