Giant game of Tag w/ Nerf/LARPing weapons..just seeing if anyone wants to come on down!!
May 22nd From 3PM - 10PM at Sam Peden Community park in New Albany
HUMANS VS ZOMBIES!
MEET AT SHELTER 4! just look for the crowd of people armed with nerf weapons.
Just read the date and time in the description.
I am going with basically the same rules as the Louisville game
YOU WILL NEED:
Headband
a way to tell time
weapons (must be safe. nerf guns, swords, socks, larping weapons, etc.)
heres what you already know.
Humans vs. Zombies is a game of tag. All players begin as humans, and one is randomly chosen to be the “Original Zombie.” The Original Zombie tags human players and turns them into zombies. The zombies must tag and “feed” on a human every 30 minutes (depending on how many people play, the times may change) or he starves to death and is out of the game.
• The Zombies win when all human players have been tagged and turned into zombies.
• The Humans win by surviving long enough for all of the zombies to starve.
*players may not use cars
SAFE ZONEESSSS;;
Bathrooms(if they're open for the season), duh.
Anywhere you can hide, obviously.
Playgrounds.
Under the picnic area where everyone will meet.
OFF LIMITS: (do not go here during game)
Do not go into the woods (they are full of thorns. if you are caught, you where warned)
Stay off basketball courts and tennis courts if they are being used
stay in the park.
Limits will be explained more before the game at the park...
HUMAN RULESSSS::
Humans must stay in the area assigned. If you think you can win by leaving the park and coming back later, you will be disqualified
Stunning a Zombie: Humans may stun a Zombie for 30 seconds by shooting them with a Nerf gun or throwing a sock at them.
That gives you time to get your ammo, and get away.
When Tagged By a Zombie: When tagged by a Zombie, a Human is to take their headband off their arm and tie it around their head.
1 minute after being tagged by a zombie, a Human becomes a member of the Zombie team.
ZOMBIESSS::
Feeding: Zombies must feed every 10 minutes. If you can't find anyone or somehow can't keep up and run after someone and your time is up, then just lay on the ground and look at the sky or w/e. your done for the round.
*one thing that could get shady is the feeding aspect. you're gonna have that person who is a zombie and wont admit he or she is starved. don't be a liar. if you can get some food for your zombie ass, then get yourself out.
Tagging: A tag is a firm touch to any part of a Human. After tagging a Human the Zombie must collect their ID card.(we may or may not make cards)

Getting Shot: When shot with a Nerf gun or hit with a sock a Zombie is stunned for 30 seconds. A stunned zombie may not interact with the game in any way. This includes shielding other zombies from bullets or continuing to run toward a human. If shot while stunned, the zombie’s stun timer is reset back to 30 seconds. Be fair. If you get hit, make sure you look at your watch or re-set your alarm or start counting over. No one likes a cheater.
No Shields: Zombies may not use shields to deflect Nerf darts or socks.
oh, and zombies CANNOT USE ANY WEAPONS OF ANY KIND.
