has any1 done this if so how hard is it ?? will the trunk lid work good and will the corner tails work in there ??? if not how hard do u all think it would be????

Yes it works and the tails fit fine I have it on my 2000 I have a 05 trunk and tails

Trunk lid is the same from 95-2005. The only difference is in 2003, the red reflector panel was added. This is a cosmetic change only. If you no longer want the reflector panel, your 2 options (and there are more than 2, but these are perm. options) are to weld the holes closed and repaint --or-- get a new trunklid from 95-02

The outter tails are the same bolt pattern, same overall shape from 95-05. Again, the differences in the tails are cosmetic only.

Inner tails are the same from 95-02. 03+ were replaced with the reflector panel (I think)

As for difficulty, I'd give it 2 out of 5 wrenches due to either having to weld some holes closed or finding a new trunklid...

Yes, it will work since the trunk lids are the same... you will need to get a lid from 03-05 though.

Still with the 2 out of 5 wrenches though (tracking down a lid.... 3-4 if it needs new paint because it's not the same color)

easiest install ever, you get to keep you stock trunk lock so your key works, all the stock light plugs plug in, and it all took less than an hour, I just got done doing mine, 98 lid on my 03 it looks so much cleaner now
