As the title says. My brother sold his 04 cav....
So i need some one to test the prototype Ecotec crank pulley for me.

I'll test it on my HHR, but i want to test it on a j-body.
I also need some one to test the 2200 crank pulley for me because, the other test car is now in a million pieces, and my friend bought a Saab. Anyone wants to pay half and be a test subject, and beat the hell out of the pulleys, and then be the first to get a production pulley.
First come, first serve. I might want two test vehicles for both products, just need to get a firm price on the prototypes I am having made.

Any questions or concerns feel free to ask. I also would like to be able to see the install / & help to ensure there is no fitment issues of any kind.

how much is it and is it the size of stock pulley, im in northern ohio and wouldnt mind to test it out for the 2007 show season
Its stock size, just lightweight. I think it would only be like $75-80 and i'll pay the rest.
bonnet does your car see the winter?

I am in for the eco test as long as it is stock sized, and yes my car is a 4 seasons ride so it will be on the road all winter.
my car used to be a winter car until i got the kit on it, now its being stored this winter
im in columbus, all season ecotec, im down for a test when u get an underdrive light weight pulley
y would it matter if its a 4 season car or stored for the winter
i may b in for the 2200 pully ..... working on a 2200 build to go in my 93 cavi ......lol also stored winters but drivin pretty hard all summer and taken to the track

Prolly because its winter now and he wants people who will test it for the next couple months so he can sell them in the spring when everyone is wanting to buy stuff for their cars, but thats just my thoughts

If you need it tested on a Supercharged Eco let me know.
i really want to test it, but if you only want people who will test it in the winter time too then ill just wait to see if they come out, but i thought i would answer your request since i live so close, if you still interested let me know, ill still buy
How much testing are you wanting? I'd throw it on mine as soon as I get it in if you want. It's all stock for now minus an intake, but pretty soon I'll be putting on the header I have, and full 2.25" exhaust.

Is your car a 5 rib belt or 6 rib belt supercharger setup? Also the addded stress of the supercharger shouldn't be an issue at all.
Also yes I want more than anything to ensure proper fitment of the pulleys. Last time on the LD9 pulleys I had to change a few thicknesses, because on some model years there was a bolt DIRECTLY in-line where the pulley spun.
Yes I would like to see the pulleys tested now so I can start producing them asap.

I was hopping to have them done for tax return time.

I would just keep the 5rib imo, I see no greater advantageof the 6....but I don't have a supercharged cavy either.

I do know that the 5 and 6 rib crank pulleys HAVE a different centerline of the belt offset. If that makes sense.

Crank and AC are 5 rib, supercharger and alternator are 6 rib.
The biggest advantage to the six rib is that a GM dealership stocks the 6 rib belt, but has to order a 5 rib, or you cut a rib off.
Well to start the 2.2 and then the 2.4 eco for the hhr, cobalt, and any other gm 2.4 ecos. I know the alternator pulley fits the 2.2 and 2.4 ecos. The sold one HHR guy a alternator pulley, and heput it on his 2.4 ecotec.

If still in need I will test the eco pulley
Waiting for a response as to who will be testing....
Black eco and marchi 1 seem to be the best canadates for the pulleys.
FstCavZ24 (M62 ECO) & Darkstars I keep both of you in mind.
Bonnett you are close, but your car doesn't see the winter, and will not be driving at all.
green98cavy seems to be the only one intrested in testing the 2200.
Thank you all for the intrest.
I try and get the machine shop to get some prototype underway, then I'll get back to you all.
