cool deal. are we allowed to know what you paid for it?
I guess there's no harm in it. I snagged it for $3200.
Unfortunately, it's an automatic. It's still pretty fun though. I pulled out from my house and without holding the break, I managed about 40 feet of double black marks... gotta love low-end torque and a limited slip diff. No one-wheel-wonder for me, lol.
I'm trying to resist the modding bug. I usually tend to spend too much money on my cars. I've already changed the oil, but I'm going to go through and do a routine tune-up... plugs, wires, air filter (maybe K&N), etc. Other than that, it has a small oil leak, which will receive attention, and the idle oil pressure isn't quite as high as I'd like to see, so I'll probably end up replacing the oil pump when I take care of the leak. Other than that, it's missing a couple pieces of interior trim and the fabrics need to be cleaned a bit. By the time I'm done, I expect to have less than $3800 in the car.
its an Lt1 car so, do ignition bs first..set of lt4 heads and intake, the an lt4 hotcam..lol
i did all that on out caprice, deff woke it up by alote without breaking the bank

haha. have fun with plugs and wires lol. half the motor is under the dash. also it would be a good idea with that mileage to change the optispark (distributor) thats a bitch too, behind the waterpump.
Wow Thats a Sweet Z28. i have been thinking about getting a Camaro or Trans Am, cause my co- workers have Trans Am's One has a 30th Anniversary and the other one has an '80 Bandit Trans Am. I've also been interested in this '89 Camaro Rs by my Dads work. BTW Nice deal on that Z. What kinda Exhaust is that?

It still has the factory cat. The exhaust was only redone from the axle back. The muffler is a Thrush Hush. It's too quiet for my taste, but when I'm WOT, it wakes up a bit. It's a fun little car... that's for sure. I'm going to need some new tires sometime soon, haha.
