ok guys, I am looking to consolidate vehicles. I have 4 cars for 2 drivers......
I am looking to trade my trans am and/or S-10 for another truck. I am located a stones throw south of pittsburgh.
I will post pics shortly, but here are some specs
The Trans Am I have is an 84, has the offset hood scoop, T-tops, fully built and nicely dressed 350, TCI streetfighter trans and torque converter, 3:73 gear disc brake rear-end, newly re-done front seats and headliner, custom dual exhaut (both run down the passenger side so the driver side doesnt hang down and scrape), custom rear suspension (not dropped) with "lift bars". Needs a little body work from getting broken into and lightly smacked in the parking lot of my old apartment. Taillights were smashed to try to get into trunk, I have replacements for those. But will need the drivers fender fixed/replaced, and the passenger door lock area fixed. There is also some rust coming back from when it was redone several years ago by where the factory aero kit meets the body. Stereo is a phantom face alpine, pioneer (i think) 6x9's, eclipse 3 1/2" front speakers, and 2 audiobahn flame q 12" subs with a 2400 watt audiobahn chrome flame amp. 2.4 farad cap, 0 gauge wire throughout. 2 batteries under the hood, high output alt. Thats a rough run down of the car. It has been in storage for about 2-3 years, started occasionally, and needs a good home.
The S-10 is a '93 has a 2/3 static drop with springs and leafs. new brakes all around, new ball joints, new tune up. starts and drives everyday without issue. it is the origional 2.8 v-6 with 5 speed manual trans. Currently has shaved doors, tailights, with corvette rollpan. custom side exit exhaust (routed between bed and frame to avoid scraping), leather buckets, GT grant steering wheel, kicker solo-baric 10" sub, DARK tint all around, ventshades on windows and rear camper window, snap tonneau, new chrome grill, etc. you will get any and all parts you want. Just put $500 worth of new 16" tires on it as well. Although I may be keeping those wheels. bed is solid, but in rough shape, was in accident on donor truck, and has damage behind the passenger rear wheel. Also, cab corners going (will include new cab corners with truck). Currently drivers door doesnt work, but i will fix that before it is sold.
I am looking for something old, low, and rat-roddy....like this:
my only conditions are it runs and drives, doesnt need any major mechanical work to be driven safely. I would consider any low-rider truck, not just old-school, so let me know what you have, and what you are interested in.

I seriously just put a ton of $$ into it to pass inspection, that where the ball joints, all the brakes, new leaf springs...etc. came from. but let me see what youre talkin.

maybe, does it have glass, and a running engine/trans, and good suspension?
only missing the door and 1/4 glass, since when i got it those 2 were broken out. yep runs and drives . i have the burnout marks to prove it

and for quick reference i just snapped this s-10 pic with my phone.
u gotta tow it . no guages as the orig. ones are still 6 volt. monte brakes , 87 Escort brake booster and a gm master cylinder
engine, its got a modified dirt track raceing rad and air cleaner.

gunna say cant do it for now. well see what i end up doing with the car/truck thing though. i dig the car, but it would have to be in drivable condition for me to get it.
with a lil more work it can be . not much left to be done. guages, glass, title reg. and its ready to roll

lets see what happens with the sale/trade.
ill keep it in mind, cause it is a pretty cool cruiser.
i would need to drive it home though....gauges arent a huge concern for that.
yeah they are, ull need it for gas and water temp. sell something cuz u got alot on ur plate with the sunfire parts and the seats u want form me

well, have someone looking for a trade on the Trans am for
this truck. 99 b2300 with 06 ranger front end swap, custom bed, 5/6 drop. Said he also had a front air ride kit for it.......im going to try to talk him into painting it, and throwing the air on it, and im switching at least head units from the T/A.
Thoughts and opinions?
thats a deal for that DO IT !!!! atleast he did the bed the right way and welded everything. if hes only got the bags for the front dont put it in till u have stuff for the rear too. ditch the stock rager grill for something billiet . GO GET IT SON !

you can always swap the motor later. Screw paint spray bomb it and drive it . mini tricks dont need paint
