agreed...but i have to be a little more specific.
i'm sick of going to hang out with certain car groups. lower-end cars(corollas, civics, cavaliers, etc) generally bring a bad stigma to every meet. i've discovered that people who have more money/time/knowledge/respectable cars tend to be a bit less...annoying. this doesn't speak for all of them, as there's always a bad seed, but i certainly don't go to hang out with too many car groups anymore.

matt, its not so much the people who are into cars, its the mindset that they have. when cars are the only thing, you have really no variety of convo and it gets old talking about the same thing. also if the people only limit their likes to their car and cars like it. if a person can find everything cool with their car, but then everything wrong with other cars, then you;re hanging out with narrow minded people.
it IS because you are getting older. same here for me. but its also who you surround yourself with. all j groups are fun...sorta, but when you hang out with older and younger than you are, AND different cars, you never stop learning about different things, and teaching others about what they might not know about yours.
its like the difference between hanging out with your friends, which for what i know are diverse, right matt...
and the other option would be hanging out with JUST your family members by blood.
most people, even though they love their fam, will find more fun with friends from all over.
that and usually the older carry less of the D factor
hey i know how about a cannonball run style race around the capital then north up 95 then around the balto. beltway back down 95 and around the dc beltway the other way till we get to where we started in say springfield. and who ever doesnt get caught or killed gets a whole bag of oreo cookies.
just kidding id be cool with me meet or something. i think it might actually be nice to meet some of you guys (and girls) that i've been chating with. it may also be nice to see some of your cars in person too. i've been dying to see how rodimus gets his car to change into that robot. and to see if the laser gun he has is realy legal, cause i have my doubts. but dont worry rodimus im sure we all can agree to keep your robot cars laser gun on th d.l.
tho the cannonball sounds like a lot of fun. and i LOVE me some oreo's!

The only difference I see in getting older is that pretty soon I will buy a trailer to roll my car around. I also believe in waiting another year and a half when I turn 25 and my insurance goes down a little. My interests are a CTS, RS6, M3, or WS6 Firehawk. When I turn 30, then I will look at Skylines and exotics. I refuse to pay huge rates especially on cars that go down in value from the day you drive one off the lot. If I was rich, I would buy whatever the fu*k I wanted but unforunately I haven't reached 6 figure mark yet... probably next year when I get promoted again.
Anyway, another thought is that I wanted a bike. Hayabusa. I have friends with bikes and the sh*t that they do on them I think is awesome, especially adrenaline crew. But, there is a fair share of IDIOTS on bikes that go zooming in and out of traffic on the weekends whether day or night and they think they are the fu*king knight rider and @!#$. Getaway in Stockholm kind of racing. I think that if my bike had the potential to reach 200 mph, I think I would run too, just for the hell of it. No purpose, just to say 'hey look, fu*k you, thats fu*king right.' Bikes also attract 'bit*hes the most important thing.

i think it would be interesting just to meet some of the people on here. i only personally know 2 people on here.
and not necessarily for a "look how friggin sweet my car is" session, just to hang out
just get in touch with people man....
i rarely make it to meets anymore, but i;ve met more people when you just get in touch with em and just figure out something to do.
groups of friends have def proved to be better than organized meets, and most times more fun.
