Hey J's,
I've been talking to people at Englishtown and they have agreed to let me have a jersey J appreciation day which can be open to any GM Small Car for that matter.
Basically since it is our first year of starting this, and I would love to do it annually we can have a small show & shine as well as our own lanes at the track for racing. There will be trophies and stuff too. I have plenty of plans for the future but since it will all come out of my pocket at first to operate the thing I have to leave it at a bare minimum for now.
So what I am wondering from you guys is do you think it is worth it for us to do it? I think it would be great especially if we can get other clubs out here. And the price right now would be expected about $30 for entry. Hasn't been decided yet. Would you all be interested in doing this?

Excellent I'm glad to hear all of this. In december I will be at E-Town picking the date for this. Anyone have a specific month that they prefer over another? Granted I know that basically we will take what ever we can get. But how about a pick of prefer earlier in the year, later in the year, or dead center of summer?
Also next year I will be making up flyers for advertising the event so if you would like your cars picture in there and you have a pic of you racing or at a show let me know. I need the highest resolution possible. Minimum of 4 megapixel.

Festa, see if you can get a date in the spring or fall, when its nice and cool out. Not only will the weather be better, the cars will be faster, and there's less NHRA and pro-racing stuff to fight over for scheduling.

How about scheduling when I don' have work...wait, that's every day I work. Damn it! Let me know so I can take off, but spring or fall would be the best, while I am still at school, on a weekend when I don't have classes.

I want to shoot for the fall personally but I think I have to take what I can get. I'm almost positive it will be a Saturday morning considering that is when they do their small things, like club gatherings. This should be a lot of fun, and a headache for me but that is ok. I will try to make as good of an event out of this as I can, definitely will include music, awards for show and race, and if I can get my hands on the opportunity to bring more I will. This is more of a piolet test to see what we can do. Obviously if this becomes annual and we get better turn outs we will see much more happening.
