does anyone go to philly to watch the friday night street races? just curious as to what it's like.

If its illegal, becarefull you don't get caught watching! You can get into some serious trouble, but if its legit.....bring a camera and post a video.

From what I remember with Dustin and them going up there, they aren't legal! Be careful!
tons of cars and alot of mayhem....when the cops come....be very careful because most people dont watch where their going when they are trying to get away from them. also, if you get caugth you more than likely wont know it unitl maybe 3 weeks later when you get a ticket in the mail with a 500 fine

ok a friend of mine has video of racing his WRX up there. it's pretty cool he killed an EVO and a Mach 1 stang.

i go up there quite a bit....usually don't bring my sunfire, i'm usually driving my blue 05 kia rio, or my brother's red integra.

But at the end of the one 4 way race- this guy raised the draw bridge and we all had to ramp over it....
I sprayed and made it okay, but this one chick in a pink s2000 smashed the whole front end of her car... It was crazy.. There was people everywhere!!

ok I wasnt lookin for assinine comments although I deserve them. I was just askin a simple question looking for a simple answer. I wasnt going up there to race ne way I'm gonna whoop major ass in my 2200 auto cavalier. I was just wondering what it was like up there and if I'm waisting my time to go up there to watch or not or if I would have a better time going to cecil county to watch race.

philly street racing is horrible. bunch of 15-17 second cars flying around, if they even get a race off its only a couple and its just really boring.

ur partially right, but i guess u went at bad times. i guess u never seen the captain america mustang run, or the turbo'd rsx...the list is too long. but its really not worth going to anymore. buddy of mine just got caught and received a $500+ ticket and will be losing his liscense for 6months.

who ever took that video was lucky he/she didnt get shot at. i sene it a couple times people almost getting killed b/c of it.

Philly Street Races- I was there last night, people were out like crazy, LOTS of FAST cars, There are so many poeple its insane, its more packed that that excuse of a movie (fast and furious) street racing scenes. Just be careful and if the cops come, dont stop. There is basically no traffic laws at all during the races, everyone does and drives as they wish, crazy, crazy times...

yeah, my friend Pat just got out of a racing ticket. the frikkin cop was 2 cars behind him, and when the cop hit his lights, he thought he was pullin over the car behind him, so he kept goin. then the cop tried pullin him over, so he pulled right over. the cop nailed him with trying to run from police. had to pay somewhere round 600 bucks or he was goin to jail.
i used to go down there. its just not worth it anymore. the cops are dicks, and i need my car, so i don't need it impounded.
