I got a 2.4 motor I got to get rid of... on a crate, looks brand new. No IDI cover... info is:

BL: 24574250
Head: 24574683-18

And I have a 2.3... 753 head and I think a 311 block (COULD be an HO)

they need to go asap!!!

OH yeah... reason being... my motor is going to go soon... i'm startin to blow out greyish blue smoke out of my exhaust... I need money to fix it lol

blue/grey smoke is NOT a good thing commin out of your exhaust... which is what i'm dealin with now

So what's the deal with the 2.4. If it's in running condition, I'd give you $200 for it, And I'll come pick it up, naturally.

It really doesn't matter what it LOOKS like to me, if it's used, I'd pay no more than what I can get one at a junkyard for unless there's a full guarantee it will run. Still, though, if you can't get rid of it, my offer will still stand, and if you can get rid of it, I'll be very happy for you

The 753 head was only used in 1993 and was used on both low and high output engines. They also used the same blocks: 661 or 927.
The only real difference is going to be in the pistons, the H/O motor has less dish/higher compression.
I might want the motor all depending on how much longer you have it. I have to replace the motor in my daily driver first.
