Compression Tester? Anyone got one?

Hey for anyone near central PA/MD with a compression tester I'm anxious to see how my motor is holding up, I have reason to believe I may have an issue but I need to test to confirm

Go buy one they're cheap.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and
degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that
nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for
which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his
own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of
being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than
himself.

Sears sells a cheap one for like $25.There easy to use.Just remove the spark plug, screw the adapter in,and crank the car for a few seconds. It should read around 200 psi.I think your supposed to put a screwdriver into the throttle body to open up the throttle plate while you do it.Oh,and make sure you remove the fuel pump fuse.A leak down tester will be your best bet though. That will tell you if you have a bad piston ring, leaking valves,or a bad head gasket.Youll probably have to bring it to a shop to get done though because you need an air compressor to do it.
