Guys,
I have purchased a pick up and I need to get rid of my cavailer. I was going to list on ebay, but wanted to see if there was an interest in here first. Please read carefully, I am trying to disclose all known information...
-- 2001 Chevy Cavailer
-- 2DR Base model
-- 5 speed manual
-- B&M short shifter
-- Rear sway bar
-- 109,000 highway miles
-- factory CD player
-- MA legal tinted windows
-- full brake job done recently.
-- all paperwork
Condition: Car is in well kept condition inside & out (will add pictures tonight). Have been having some noises....In fifth gear about 70 miles per hour a humming/grinding noise begins. If the cars never reaches 70, I never hear the noise. This noise starts after about 20 mins of highway driving 70+ mph. I have purchased a new vehicle so did not bother getting it looked at. I am selling as is, please be aware that there may be work needed.....
KBB for "Fair" condition is $2700, I am asking $2500 or best, if you are interested please make me an offer.
Also, I have about $1000 worth of audio equipment (pioneer deck, pioneer speakers, 2 rockford amps, sub, and digital capacitor) in the car. If wanted, we can talk a price and I will leave in the car.
(will add pictures)

may be interested would like to see pics when you get them up

thanks...thought it was....someone just needs to put a little TLC to figure out what the humming/grinding is.......

humming/grinding might be a wheel hub and/or axle. humming noise is common to be a hub, grinding is usually an axle, but i doubt it cuz axles dont go too commonly on our cars, but the hub bearings go all the time.

I'd buy it if it was Maryland inspected

Don't be lazy ! For $1800.00 inspect it yourself ! Thats a good deal especialy with the audio equipment. Throw on some wheels and tint and fix the hum and you have a good little car.

I would ask for a little more if you wanted the audio.....anyone interested? Make me an offer? I would hate to see this car given away as a donation.
