Im sure you have pawn shops in your area, but they are probably worth more as metal than jewlery. I would contact smaller jewlers around your house, they will often buy tings to melt down, or sell to have melted.

The one pawn shop only wanted to give me like 150 bucks for 3 wedding bands which are 24K gold and all have diamonds in em. that wasn't including the bracelet at the time or the 4th ring I found that I have to get rid of. I paid like $1200 for just the wedding bands

Jewelry isn't worth a lot used. Diamonds must be large to be worth something from what I found. I tried to get rid of a diamond tennis bracelet (aprox. 12 diamonds) and a diamond anniversary ring (12 diamonds) from an ex and nobody wanted them for more than the value of the gold melted, which was around $10 at the time. They were purchased for $400 total, keep in mind they were from high school & that was a lot of $$ back then!

What I did after going to about 10 shops, since I had the receipts, was sell them at a yard sale. I think I asked $25 each and they were the first thing to go! That said, try Craigslist or ebay or something instead of somewhere local.
