alright got the car all back together again only problem is I had 2 what appear to be ground wires I wasn't sure where to bolt them. here is the pic someone let me know thanks!
its hard to tell with the pic quality but one of those might be a wire for the starter solenoid. if they're ground wires they get put under the bolt in the lower right of the pic. sorry for being vague but i don't want to tell you the wrong thing and something bad happening. I hope this helped a little.

BTW if you ground them both and the starter won't engage then one is a solenoid wire. I accidently grounded that one when i did my engine swap.
not a problem. I forgot to throw up it is a 2.4...I grounded them to the motor but my battery is toast I think so i'm trying to put a charge to it and if it takes a charge I will check and see if it starts tomorrow when I get home from work> I have another battery to throw in. Just don't want to take it out of the car again. cause it erases my tripometer and that is a pain. I like to keep tabs on how many miles I get to a tank of gas.
well the start won't engage. But I'm not sure which wire it is. There has to be someone out there with a 2.4 starter sitting on there motor still that can take a glance and let me know what the wire colors are connected to the starter. Anyone?
Looks to me that the black one should be grounded, the red one should go on the s-terminal of the starter.
