Remote Keyless entry

Can anyone in the Albany, NY area get a keyless entry remote programmed for free or cheap.
I checked with a couple dealers and they want what I think is a bit much to do it.

I've read on here that some peoples dealers did it for free, but I don't recall any being close to me.

Called

Depaula (albany)- $59
Gables (Cobleskill)- $42
Salisbury (Scotia)- $88
Denooyer (Albany) - No answer

wow no one should be charging more than 50 thats rediculous. unfortunately only a dealer can do it. good luck finding someone cheaper.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Damn.

thanks anyways, I guess I'm getting it done @ Gables.

Might know a guy that works at a GM dealership, wonder if he could get me a discount

I could probably get him to bring the tool home any time. For now I kinda like the DRL's although I might get sick of them in the future, they don't bother me at all yet

I don't think he could get it for the weekend, but if he could, maybe we could set something up where if some people came up to the Albany, NY area
he could maybe get it for a day and do some programming for a few of you guys. Just a thought, but I would have to see if he could even get it for a weekend or something.
When I see him, I'll ask about it.
