As far as for the IU guys that were there with you. Who ever was driving around the jeep, during the pepperchini eating contest and decided to just back up into the crowd, if I didn't have our $1,000 camera in my hand, I was about ready to pull him out of it and punch him in the @!#$ head. YOU DON'T BACK UP INTO A CROWD OF PPL WITH YOUR @!#$ CAR AND USE IT AS A RAMING ROD!!!

Haven't been on the site much this summer since I just started grad school and am getting married in a few weeks. How was the show?
Wide Body Progress
The guy with the Blue Cavi is from Canada and named Eric. He had a very nice setup all around. I was screwed with the judging because they said that they did not want a repeat Best of Show winner. I was a little pissed about that because I knew I had the best of show again. JUDGING was the only complaint about this show.

Didn't even know you were there, man...can't believe I missed you. Took home second place--not as great as last year, but it gave me the drive to go full-force on my interior this winter

Show was really good, but the attendance was so-so because of some other shows and the fair going on close-by. Also, I think we suffered doing it when a lot of college kids had already went back to school.
I was parked right next to the blue cavi that you were talking about. The red GA with the headlight conversion. I took home best GM and best interior. I should have won BOS but they did not want a repeat champion as I was last years BOS winner, best interior and best GM winner a year ago.

Um...wasn't the winner of Bes of Show last year the yellow Saturn with the speakers in the headlights?
The yellow Ion is a SEMA car and it DID NOT win best of show. I beat him for BOS and Best interior and then I also took home best GM. The Ion has been in multiple magazines and on Unique Whips. My car has also been in magazines but with no where near the exposure that SEMA cars receive. I should have taken home the same awards that I did last year with what arrived at this years show.

Dude...sorry...I just find it hard to believe that you "beat" that car with yours. I mean, the GA was nice and all, but that Saturn is off the damn hook regardless of it's show circuit. If "BOS" is based on the nicest car at the show plain and simple, I'd be utterly shocked that yours beat his.
All that I konw is that I took home the best GM, best interior, and BOS with $500. I know Mark Abate (Ion) and have been in the show circuit for many years with him and we both have great cars. I agree that the Ion is better but there are few that can do what I have done to my car seeing that I did all of the work myself.
