Yep some 00-02's will definitely help cure the gap.

Maybe make that fender a priority too? I see one laying in the first pic.

Also how come you can still see the Tein in the new paint?

ha thats my old bumper aka signal 13s old bumper from his green cav that i bought. the only way that bumper is going to fit right is if he sands all that extra fiberglass off at the top of the headlights. that bumper was made to fit s15 silvia headlights not cavalier headlights

That is true, if you mess up that bumper to put 00 headlights on than your an idiot. Go buy a set of s15 headlights and put them on or pick up a new trd bumper. Killing all that glass work for laziness makes a grown man cry.

im not trying to be a dick so please do not take this the wrong way but i doubt he will be able to shell out the cash for the s15 headlights. they arent cheap by any means. to get them in good condition cost nearly 750 bucks for the 2 headlights. i was lucky enough to score a set on ebay for only 300 bucks. if he does get s15 headlights then he will have to make custom fenders and a custom hood. that bumper isnt too far off a regular cavalier trd bumper. he just needs to sand down where the bumper meets the fender thats why it looks like its tilting down. putting 00-02 headlights in there isnt going to make a difference. its still going to look the same. actually they probably wont fit without having to trim down the bumper where it meets the fender anyway.

and where do you plan on getting these free 700 dollar headlights? also you cany buy the fenders and hood, you have to custom make them.

Re: Project TRD

my friend has tons of 240 sx front end parts and he has a few sets of the front lights i just dont know if i want to do the conversion i kinda like it the way it is. and another reason i wont do it is because i dont feel like shelling out the time and money to make the fenders and hood match. but ya i can get em if i wanted them.

and don't forget the fact that the radiator is going to get in the way so you will have to deal with that issue as well. That bumper was cracked up bad, its a good deal since he knows someone who can fiberglass.

Re: Project TRD

ya he has s15 lights ill talk to him hes got tons of money and like 3 s14 with s15 front ends so its no biggy for him but ya im stick with the cavy front i prefer it over the s15 front. im going to slowly convert it to a complete TRD replica cause i like that alot and it looks clean
