Any body have a 95 2.3 intake cam for the secret cam swap - a friend has the exhaust cam and just needs the intake - we totally exhausted the local yard... Let me know

If you know of any yards near 19609 that have a good chance of having a donor for this cam also, please let me know. BTW, there are quite a few 90-94 2.3 DOHC (VIN D) quads at A-Z U Pull It in shoemakersville pa that have exhaust cams for the swap. The yard charges 15$ per cam.

Why not the HO cams with a hex drive milled in for your power steering pump? A little more umph if you don't mind getting the work done to it. The car will run in batch fire mode but it's not really a big deal. If not, I found mine at the junk yard in New Ringgold. I forget the actual name of it. The place is huge. Good luck!

P.S.- the struts and springs work great. Thanks!

I was not aware that was an option, so thanks. Like I said, I'm searching on behalf of a friend who has a 2001 grand am se 2.4. I got the impression he was looking for a bolt on solution, but I'll mention this to him, because there were several HO Quad4's at the yard - the good ones from '90-94. I tried to convince him to just grab a whole 086 top end, but we were all kinda in a hurry and like I said, he wants the ease of bolt-on.

P.S. got pics of the drop?

sorry for the crappy pics. I'll get you better ones later when I swap the front end and put the drift kit on.

Not quite, Tinkles. In the process of doing all the body work and getting the kit on. I didn't want mixed color body pieces after i put everything on so I figured I would start prepping the body while I did everything else. Which will lead to paint. It's flat grey primer at the moment.

And thanks, Ryan. The car's getting there. Slowly but surely. If your friend decides to go the HO cam route, let me know because I have all sorts of cams and towers strewn about my brother's garage.

Chris, you can probably find the parts you're looking for at both yards mentioned. But seeing as how you're in Stroudsburg, you should probably scour the yards close by you. There's bound to be an HO somewheres! If not, give me a shout as I have an extra HO mani I've been working on to put on the USMCZ if your interested. Depending on how well it turns out, I might just let my old one go for a good cause.

As for the 2.3 HO pulley, it is slightly smaller and lighter than the stock 2.4's. You won't notice a difference with an otherwise stock motor between the two besides the pain in the ass it is to size a new belt. Especially if you plan on bypassing the a/c as I did.

old intake manifold

mani in progress (with ceramic coated W41 cams. You see why I don't need the HO's? )
