i was wondering my new 1987 cavalier z24 i just got has emblem on trunk CL
is there a deference from z24 and CL z24 ?
i always assumed cl was one regular type cavi (more equipped)
and z24 was other model with all they factory ground effect and hood

mine got the hod and ground effect all they iside trim showes z24 digital dash ,ac,power window and power trunk release, i can't see why cl is on the trunk

or all z24 CL?

to be defrent is to be original

Maybe it's a trunk lid from a different vehicle... or the previous owner really liked putting trim pieces on the car...

My 87 Z24 Hatchback has a CL emblem on it as well. I do believe CL is something to do with the fancier interior. I think most of the Z24's had this option. I know there are Z's with the cheap plastic door panels out there but I have yet to see one around where I live.

i have seen one 87 z24 that wasnt a cl. it had the vinal seats and door pannels. i beleive the cl was an 87 only thing. i have an 86 z24 non cl and it has cloth interior.

From what I understand, it is an interior option. I also have the CL....
