Just got this car running and aside from the valve/lifter tick there is a knocking coming from the tranny. Sounds to be coming from the torque converter. I dont believe its rod knock (which is what I thought it was at first) because I've climbed under the car and it clearly coming from the trans. Any ideas?

You should always put what kind of car you have, the motor and if its a auto or 5 speed, other wise nobody can help you. Also fill out your registry so we can se what kind of car it is if you forget to put something important in your post we can look it up in your reg.

Anyway its a '91 Sunbird LE w/ a 3.1 auto.
