new to site, got a few custom mods

hey i own a 94 sunbird le. its black with the 2.0. i have done one of the coolest mods i think. heres where it all started, i was installing my new cd player and really wanted to get rid of the OEM square stereo. now i am almost 100% positive that all of you guys hate the OEM stereo taking up space so if you want a nice look and a awsome mod check mine out. i took out the old brick stereo and went out to buy my self a little 2 inch tachometer. it looks really good and not to ricery. i installed a back plate out of some plastic i had laying around so now it goes flush with everything. i can post some pictures really soon but my camera is in the shop, let me know what you think. also let me know if anyone else hasd tried my rpm mod. i have other mods also, i have got the 90-94 z24 side skirts, the alpha-auto blue reverse indiglow gauges from ProCarParts.com, i put in a pilot steering wheel which makes a huge difference due to the "non-tilt-steering", i debadged the doors, i had 2 12 inch kenwood subs but recently sold them, and many other small mods. the mods that i am going to do next are a complete @!#$ swap (including handle, boot and ebrake) from a 2000-2004 dodge intrepid, i am also going to make a custom center counsole out of fiber glass, also i would like to get the z24 bumpers and hood to match the side skirts, and the z24 tails. it is a lot of stuff but i am on my way. let me know how you like my ride. pics will be posted soon!

Good idea but you arent the first. Basically everyone i've ever known with a sunbird did exactly what you did with the stock stereo location
Good luck on the future mods

..don't sweat it man. its tough to mount a stereo in a bird
I would probably still own my J if I had a z24 instead of a
sunbird GT.... too many odd design characteristics that
looked cool, but were an expensive pain to modify.

Best Buy was supposed to put my new deck there, like urban's...instead they fouled up and spent 7 hours slapping a tray under their where the storage unit was and putting the deck in there...

Ive got another dash piece, cutting out a square so it has the same texture, and putting in switches for my neons, LEDs, etc...
