alright well its not my Z24 thank god
anyways i started up the 4dr and i noticed a very small amount of smoke goin out form hte engine bay,so i took a closer look and it seems like its coming from around the head but it was hard to tell as it was dark out,now if i gave it a quick rev more smoke would appear, anyone have any ideas?im guessing a bad headgasket or cracked/warped head
BTW its a 2.2 TBI motor, perhaps i will end up doin the MPFI topend swap or perhaps throw a V6 under the hood

its steam not smoke, and its the headgasket. look at the front driver side corner.
well i didnt start the car up but looking at pics from when i first got it and now it seems like theres abit of oil on hte manifold
when i first got it
and now,see the stain on hte manifold?

Yeah it's your valve cover gasket...takes 20min max to change it....but i spent about 3 hours with a brillo pad cleaning all the oil off it
Could be faster with a spray-on engine cleaner, though...
i think ill wait till i do the MPFI swap and jsut clean it all while its off,im not driving the 4dr yet as its my winter beater
