my battery keeps dying when the car is turned off. dont know if i left anything on last night.i got a jump start this morn went to work. i went to check it 2hrs later it died. could it be i didnt let the alt charge the battery long enough. cause after it started i drive to work.

Maybe your battery is dead and can't hold a charge. When your alt goes it goes. It probably has a dead cell in it that is draining energy without you knowing
going to take it to the shop after work my boy going to come give me a jump start. would the mechanic be able to me once he hooks it up to a charger.
and its a yellow had for maybe two years.
went to mechanic they charge the charge and checked it and it came up good as i was driving it the battery light kept flashing on and they said its the alternator.
I believe yellow tops aren't the best as they require a high charge. I heard red works best for these cars. Now is a good time to invest in having an allternator shop recoil it for a higher charge in amps. Especially if you have a large system like me.
