Update:

Just some Picks of the car as of yesterday. Shown below is just various things I need to fix as well as a few pics of the interior before the detailing. More interior pics coming though, my gf did an amazing job. Also, I've got pics of the minor damage done to the old struts while removing them. The other strut was MUCH worse. There's also a few pics of how much I destroyed my bumper to fit the front cover on... I still need to take more off. That's it for now tho. Cheers.

Thats a major improvement from how it looked before, looks like the red could use a lol more clear, but otherwise came out fairly well.

Two build threads in the Gen 2 forum at the same time? I'm shocked!

Trunk cleaning, I added a truck bedliner to it, and created a new tire cover.
Sanded the hood, putting down some paint shortly.

I'd spray the mesh black, but that's just me. How are you painting this stuff? It looks way better than most of the rattle can jobs you see on here.

Yeah it's getting painted black shortly. I used treclad in a HPLV gun. Works great

In other news:

This @!#$ broke, so I replaced it with a stronger sway bar. I also replaced the ball joints.

These 2nd gens love to rust apart. most of my project is going to be replacing things that rusted out (rocker panels, suspension parts, etc.). Are you looking for a stock steering wheel? I will eventually have a stock one to get rid of (the way money is lately, it'll probably be in the next couple months). Have you considered the Energy Suspension sway bar bushings/end links? They're a good, cheap upgrade from stock (probably less than $75 for a whole set, likely closer to $50).

I am looking to upgrade all my bushings, end mounts, and engine mounts. I might be getting a new 94 cav with less rust, so I may wait for that.

How did you get a body kit for 75? i want one
ps im assuming you used rustoleum (as i did) and if you give it a good color sand, it should buff and polish to a nice shine and if you have a buffer change bonnets between the colors but i would leave that for when you get the exterior completely finished

The best thing would be engine mounts and a large sway bar off of a 3.1L . I did this to my last 90' RS 2.2L and it cornered awesome with the lighter engine.
The only glitch was where the 3.1 bar sat lower between the frame arms the exhaust pipe needed to be bent slightly to clear the sway bar, luckily I have access to a pipe bender but most garages can do it for $15.00 with the front pipe removed and marked. But if you can find a 2.0 turbo sway bar they are the same size as a 3.1 bar and fit with no mods.
