i was just wondering what some other non boosted 2.0 ohc sunbirds are runnin in the 1/4

I would say mid to high 15's would be normal with some work

try 17's, a high 16 if it's brand new and a 5 speed with a good driver. they're gutless.

i will agree that most 2.0 sunbirds are gutless but mine has ran a 14.32 @ 103 they, have potential just like any car if you know what you are doing and put forth some time and effort and my 2.0 runs like it's a bulletproof beast for a N/A inline 4

• 86 Skyhawk wagon : 2.0SOHC swap, Megasquirt, 20SEH cam
• 93 Sunbird sedan : 2.0SOHC, Microsquirt, ported head, 10:1
• 88 Sunbird coupe : 2.0SOHC, turbo project car, giant tires

* 2.0 ohc MPFI stock block
* stock internals
* gasket matched ported and polished intake manifold on the cylinder head side
* over-bored throttle body opening on intake
* over-bored throttle body(front and back side)
* all ports polished
* throttle body bypass for coolant line
* 1/4" throttle body spacer (custom)
* most vacuum fittings on the intake manifold except for the MAP sensor and fuel pressure regulator plugged
* plastic vacuum lines for the fuel pressure regulator replaced with 3/16" vacuum hose
* 8mm MSD streetfire wires (custom cut)
* E3 spark plugs (best plugs money can buy)
* K&N air filter for 3.1 cowl induction modified to work with my 2.0
* SPECTRE valve cover breather filter
* gasket matched and polished exhaust manifold
* 2-1/4" full exhaust with a high flow cat to a single 32" cherry bomb glasspack with a slant cut 4" tip
* solid shifter bushings
* Perfection clutch
* 2" x 1/4" flat steel front strut braces (custom) had to take off the drivers side to make the cowl induction work
* Royal Purple in engine and trans
* custom aluminum rear shock tower braces
* valve cover and intake manifold painted Pontiac engine blue

What the hell did you do gary to make that run a 14.32 @ 103 N/A? I find that hard to belive unless your car weights 800 lbs.

well you see someone actually posted my long list of upgrades right here so yeah the car weighs 2650 or so and started out at 110hp or so and what i have done puts it to about 165-170 or so. more power than a stock 3.1 and weighs less.
