Hello all I have a 2000 Z24 5spd and I'm putting together my suspension plan Tein SS 2" drop(tax purchase), Vibrant front & rear strut bars(installed), RK Sport upper& lower motor mounts & Frame brace(installed), Prothane poly trans mounts(installed), custom 1.5" x 1.5" frame connectors(installed), Team Green LSD (next purchase). What size and manufacturer should I go with for sway bars and what came stock on the 2000 Z24?

Read the FAQ. Stock size is 22mm.

Ok I read the FAQ and it says that the STOCK size on a J-Body is 22mm... Is that still the same for the Z24? I thought the Z's had an upgraded suspension including sway bars over stock... is that not correct?

22mm is stock on my '01 Z24. Base models with lower grade suspension package had like 19mm bars I believe, or possibly 18mm. I know my buddy's '03 LS Sport has the 24mm.

FE1 is 18mm

FE2 is 22mm


your Z24 could have either 1

03-05 Base FE0 No Bar
LS FE1 19mm SE
Z24 FE2 24mm GT

And just because you have a certain type doesn't mean a suspension option was added. So check the label under the spare tire cover for the FE# code.
Also, some Sunfires came with the FE0, even though SE was supposed to include FE1.
