Hi Im new. I read the FAQs and searched, bu nothing came up for this. I dont know, maybe Im just "forum-illiterate". lol. Can anyone tell me about these and how great they are? Im thinking about using those on my 2000 Z24. Im between the Koni Sport Suspension System or Ground Control coil-over and Koni "yellows". I know it says in the FAQs that Ground Control is best bang for the buck, but how do they compare? Just a little feedback is all Im looking for, thanks.
The koni yellows you're referring to are part of the Koni Sport Kit. The Sport Kit has different springs which drop the car just under an inch on the front, and I believe just over 1.75 in the rear. They are a great combo, Koni produces the springs and matched them to the struts. I had them on my cav for just over 1000 miles before I took it off the road for paint/engine swap, and I loved them. I can't really say anything about the Ground Controls because I've never used them , but I've never heard anything bad about them in the countless posts made about them.
So I guess basicly, if you're not worried about ride height adjustablility, go w/ the Sport Kit.
Ohhhh so wait, the Sport Kit is NOT adjustable? I really thought it was. Never mind then. A friend of mine has Ground Control coil-over on his Intergra. The car handles like a dream, no joke. So I guess he kinda sold me on em. Im not sure what Shocks and struts he using, but its amazing.
Thanks,
Matt
The yellows are adjustable but the kit is not height adjustable.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

The dampers are the crucial part of the equation. Ground Controls on Koni Yellows are a very good combination.

Thats what my friend was telling me. Im 100% sure thats what I want to go with now. Thanks guys, your very helpful
The koni yellow struts are one of if not the best stuts on the market because you adjust them to how you want them to ride. The ground control coil-overs are also one of the best, therefore you should have a great ride. Just be prepared to spent some money on that setup.
