I thought i would post this before i get start working on the car hoping maybe someone on here may have experienced this. I have a 2004 5spd cavalier, and for some reason lately i what sounds like a dragging drum sound coming from the car, now here is the weird part it is only when i unload weight from it on the passengers side. I am not sure if maybe my ebrakes not applying right or if i get a strut mount or spring issue. As i said i haven't had a chance to actually look at it yet but thought i would ask your guys opinions. The car has 35k on it and i haven't done rear brakes yet so not sure if there worn or not, but well it dosen't make these sounds on brake applications only when i have a passenger who gets out or i go and bounce the back of my car.

So it makes this sound while the car is stationary or moving?
Best guess: Spring insulators. Makes a creaking sound...
k thanks ill take a look at it in the next few days when i do my oil change.
